Purchasing and Payment
When placing an order on our website, we record sufficient personal details to confirm your identity, and to ensure we send goods to the correct address. At no time do we record your credit card information on our site. When you purchase goods at www.cookie.com.au your payment details are processed securely by our secure payment gateway which has the highest possible level of certificate and Secure Socket Layer security. We keep a secure record of your payment details until the point your order is packed and dispatched, to assist with any changes to your order. After your order is processed, your payment details are not stored in any form.
We reserve the right to use or disclose any information without notice or consent as needed to satisfy any law, regulation or legal request; to conduct investigations of consumer complaints or possible breaches of law; to protect the integrity of our site and our property; to protect the safety of our visitors or others; to fulfill your requests; or to cooperate in any legal investigation.
Whilst we make every effort to ensure availability of all products shown on this site, at any one time there may be items unavailable. If a purchase of an unavailable item is made, the purchaser will be offered the choice of a full refund, or to choose another product.
Byron Bay Cookie Company ships both domestically (Australia) and internationally using Australia Post and other freight carriers. Domestic orders totalling less than $50 will be charged a flat fee of $9.95 for shipping. We offer complimentary (free) shipping for domestic orders totalling $50 or more. You will see the relevant charge before your payment is required at checkout.
Shipping for international orders is automatically calculated using the weight / dimensions of your order and the country of destination. You will see the relevant shipping charge before your payment is required at checkout. Byron Bay Cookie Company complies with Australian regulations; however, the country of destination may have different requirements for importing our products. As such we cannot be liable for any additional duties, taxes or surcharges that you (or the recipient) may have to pay on delivery to the country of destination. If you are unsure or require further information, please check with local authorities / local customs before placing your order.
We aim to dispatch all orders within 3 working days of your order being placed online. Delivery via Australia Post within Australia takes on average between 2-5 working days after the order has been dispatched, depending on your location (as per the information supplied on Australia Post's Australia Post). International delivery varies depending on the country of destination.
Please expect longer delivery times in peak periods such as the Christmas period. See further below re Christmas Deliveries.

If we supply an incorrect product, please notify us on 02 6639 6300 or at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery and as long as the product is unopened we will arrange the correct product to be sent at no additional cost. We do not exchange or refund for change of mind, individual tastes or incorrect products ordered. In the instance that a product may have exceeded its use by date when received, or is faulty in some way, Byron Bay Cookie Company will replace the product at no additional cost.

Byron Bay Cookie Company values all our loyal customers and at this time of year we strive to deliver the quality of service we offer throughout the year, however due to the busy Christmas period we cannot guarantee all orders placed after Sunday 11th December will be received before Christmas Day. This is partly due to expected delays with Australia Post and other freight carriers over the holiday period.
