Byron Bay Cookies is proud to be partnering with the French Film Festival as a Red Carpet Sponsor (oh la la!).
2020 welcomes both a new decade and the sparkling 31st edition of the Alliance Française French Film Festival. This beloved event will once again unveil a thrilling selection of contemporary French cinema, guaranteed to captivate and stimulate audiences around the country.
Presented by the Alliance Française in association with the Embassy of France in Australia and Unifrance Films, the 2020 season will begin screening in Sydney from 10 March to 8 April, the Festival and will also travel to 2 satellite locations: Parramatta (26-29 March) and Avoca Beach (19 March - 1 April).
The Festival will also visit our very own Byron Bay (31 March – 12 April). 49 of the best and most recent French feature films, documentaries and TV series will be showcased to audiences – with over 35 screening in Australia for the very first time!
Showcased via 9 distinct categories with expressively piquant headings such as ‘Eternal Odyssey,’ ‘Intense & Unsettling,’ ‘The Voice of the Countryside,’ ‘Magnetic Love,’ and ‘City of Lights,’ the 2020 line-up has a strong emphasis on social engagement and altruistic endeavours.
This year’s Festival also presents and engaging special events calendar for audiences, involving French wine and fare along with captivating Q & A sessions and festive opening and closing night extravaganzas.
The diversity of the compositions selected allows all film lovers, young and old, to immerse themselves in French culture.

Now served on board Qantas international flights, the new cookie features bespoke illustrations from Sydney artist Chloe Joyce.

Terms & Conditions: Competition open to Australian residents with a valid domestic mailing address. Prize pool consists of 10 x Double Passes to the Lavazza Italian Film Festival 2019. Each winner will receive 1 x Double Pass (general sessions only (they exclude special events) valued at $44.00. Competition ends at 11:59pm on Sun 15 Sept and 10 winners will be announced on Mon 16 Sept on the competition post and contacted via DM.
